After last year’s successful beginning of Ahlan, we will continue with new exciting sound explorations. Be prepared for oriental and occidental musical styles to meet and merge.
We will begin the evening with a live concert by Lebanese singer-songwriter Youmna Saba. Her experimental soundscapes paired with her wonderful voice will set the tone for the evening and will later be joined by the Ahlan musicians. Youmna Saba sings and plays oud and guitar. The concert will be followed by a jam session of the other Ahlan artists. Here we will mix up electronic beats with Qanun, saxophone, violin, double bass and vocals. As always, there will be food and drinks available.

Nachdem wir letztes Jahr einen erfolgreichen Start mit den Ahlan-Jamsessions hatten, folgen nun neue, aufregende Sessions. Du darfst dich auf orientalische und okzidentale Klänge freuen!
Nachdem wir letztes Jahr einen erfolgreichen Start mit den Ahlan-Jamsessions hatten, folgen nun neue, aufregende Sessions. Du darfst dich auf orientalische und okzidentale Klänge freuen!
Der Abend beginnt mit einem live Konzert der libanesischen singer-songwriterin Youmna Saba. Youmna Saba spielt Ud, Gitarre und singt und wird später von den Ahlan Musizierenden begleitet. Anschließend folgt eine Jam Session der Ahlan Musizierenden. Hier mischen sich electronic beats mit Qanun, Saxophon, Violine, Kontrabass und Gesang. Getränke und etwas zu essen wird es im Café Nova geben.
